When I opened the downstairs curtains the other day it was misty; which was odd because upstairs it wasn’t. From the top of the house I could see the cloud inversion over the valley so I decided to jump in the car with my camera and go for higher ground. About a mile from home, and about 400 feet higher, on the stretch of road between Disley and Whaley Bridge, I got out and took some photos for stitching together. Here (in the form of a video) is the result showing the extent of the cloud inversion.
