For more years than I’d like, I’ve taken photographs of pretty much anything. Wildlife, sports (ball sports and motor-sports and the like) landscape and people; mostly family. More and more though as I increasingly look at my old images I find those that are most interesting are those with people in them. If the person in the photo is engaging with me (looking into the camera) then it increases the hold the picture has on me. It’s hard to say exactly what it is that separates one from another but some are more riveting than others. Sometimes the addition of people adds scale, sometimes proportion adding to the composition.
